GTO stands for Guanajuato, which is located central of Mexico.

I am super excited about this project. Not only is it taking place in my home town of Guanajuato! We are creating 2 Murals! And we get to invite you to follow us all the way. But not all by myself of course. 11 other artist are uniting to aid Buen Pastor, shelter for woman and their daughters. First by creating two murals, inside and outside the shelter and seeking many forms of donations through fund-raising. This project was brought to our attention by an upcoming muralist from East Los Angeles Wenceslaos Quiroz. Once he introduced the idea we got hooked and immediately began organizing a variety of live music performances, cultural events, and art shows to raise more than $10,000 dollars for our trip to Gunajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico.

We had our fist success at Cal State University, Northridge with our fist art collective event raising $1,400.00 + dollars with a few little bumps here and there, and having only two weeks to assemble. Well April 15 was right around the corner, but now we are pushing our date to Nove 27. Now we have a little more breathing room to initiate a well organized event. But not to shabby with live art stencils, poets, some tacitos, tamales, chocolate covers strawberries, and funnel cake. Mmm.
